CIM-mes is an engineering company with over 35 years of experience performing highly specialised simulation services and engineering software development. Our mission is to use and develop state-of-the-art Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to increase the competitiveness of our clients.
Creative use of simulation, combined with insightful interpretation of results and engineering judgement across various industries and technologies, helps to make correct design choices through the entire product development process. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are powerful tools for improving performance and robustness, reducing prototyping costs and reducing development time. Our broad cooperation with research organisations in different fields enables the implementation of complex and challenging projects, finalised by finding the best solution to a given problem.
The new design is always a combination of existing solutions with new knowledge. CIM-mes team combines lifelong engineering experience with new computer-based techniques for virtual performance prediction and automatic optimisation methods.
We use our engineering experience and broad knowledge of numerical modelling in the development of custom engineering software tools (e.g. see DUSTFLOW).
To constantly improve our knowledge and experience, we also perform co-financed Research and Development projects in computer science, sensing technologies and nano-materials.
